LRS Comment:

A 12 year old son of Komaite. 'Basil' (his stable name) is a winner of 4 flat races, 2 hurdle races & a chase at Sedgefield when he beat the progressive Film Festival under top weight in September, 2010. At his best on good ground with all his wins have come between April and September.

Basil was an excellent 2nd under top weight in a 2 mile Handicap Chase at  Uttoxeter on Saturday 19th May (gave the winner 13lb). The Racing Post said ' This was a splendid run off a stiff mark'.  Had two runs back from an extended break finishing 6th at Hexham (22nd April) and 4th at Perth (16th May).  Should be capable of winning a race or two this summer if the handicapper shows some leanancy.
