Open Day A Big Success
Our first ever Open Day last Sunday saw a large crowd attend on what was one of the warmest days of the year. More than 60 people were treated to a tour of the yard and our excellent facilities as well as a parade of 20 horses. They were also able to go onto the wood fibre gallop and watch three horses - Chambers, Meydan Style and Insolenceofoffice put through their paces.

There was food and drink a plenty, and the event continued long into the afternoon thanks in part to the excellent weather.

Special thanks go to our owners Bob Hall, who laid on an excellent buffet; Leslie Buckley, who provided and served (with her usual charm) all the liquid refreshments; and Paula Smith (must give the superb Lingmoor Guest House in Windermere a plug!) for all her hard work behind the scenes. Thanks also go to our hard working staff and jockeys Harry Challoner and Tom Greenwood for giving up their valuable time to ride work.

We hope to make this an annual event but if anyone couldn't make it but would like to have a look at our facilities and meet the team then please give us a call and we can arrange a suitable day and time for you to visit us and see what we have to offer.
