Matt Watkinson Racing Club Horses

SHARRABANG

3-year-old gelded son of Coach House who made all the running to win a competitive 7 furlong handicap at Carlisle (11th July) on his most recent start. Is entered in a mile handicap at Musselburgh on 23rd July. Has also been placed on the All Weather tracks.

Sharrabang a 20/1 winner under Cam Hardie at Carlisle

PRINCE OF TIME

A three time All Weather winner who was beaten a head in a 6 furlong handicap at Carlisle on 11th July. Has entries at Ayr (22nd July) & Musselburgh (23rd). Currently rated 50 but this 7-year-old has won off a mark of 63 in the past.

DEOLALI

A lightly raced 5-year-old gelded son of Sleeping Indian out of a Dubawi mare. Placed at both Wolverhampton & Newcastle from just 6 starts. Will be back on the track on turf in September before an All Weather campaign through the Autumn & Winter.

UNNAMED 2-YEAR-OLD COACH HOUSE FILLY

A lovely bay filly with plenty of size & scope out of a Dubai Destination mare. Was broken-in & educated during the Spring & then turned out to grass. Comes back into training on 1st August with a view to her making her debut on the All-Weather in November/December.

UNNAMED 2-YEAR-OLD FILLY BY HELLVELYN

A stocky dark grey filly by the sprint stallion Hellvelyn out of a mare (Sambarina) from a very speedy black type family. ‘Samba’ (her stable name) is a half-sister to triple scorer Lea Valley Black. Has been given time to grow & should be on the track in the Autumn.

JUMPER

We are currently on the lookout for a jumper to join our team & give us plenty of good days out during the main National Hunt Season. If you join the MWRC before the Goffs UK bloodstock sale at Doncaster on 6/7 August then you are welcome to come along & join us for a day which will live long in the memory!!
