Lancashire Racing Stables is offering 5% and 10% shares on a free lease basis (nothing to pay up front) in Spirit Of Bowland who was 4th on his seasonal reappearance at Southwell on 17th March.
The Racing Post comment said ‘towards rear, shaken up when short of room under 2F out, switched right when short of room again over 1F out, ridden and kept on inside final furlong, EYECATCHER.’
The monthly, fixed price, fee is £110 for a 5% share and £200 for 10%. There is nothing else to pay under any circumstances and covers absolutely everything. All of the training fees, vet bills, farrier, equine physio, dentist, wormers, etc, along with all of the racing expenses (race entry fees, jockey riding fees, transport to/from the races, staff expenses/wages).
‘Spirit’ runs in a 7 furlong handicap at Newcastle this coming Friday night 31st March before going onto the grass (the Turf Season starts this weekend). All the hard work of educating him and getting him well handicapped was done last year at our expense! He was physically weak and mentally immature in 2022 and now you have the opportunity to get involved at the 11th hour!
Because he is fit and ready to run your first monthly payment would relate to March. From April onwards the payment would be due in the middle of each month. The lease runs until the end of the year but you are free to drop out at any time by giving us a month’s notice.
If you stick with ‘Spirit’ up to and including December then you would receive your share of any owner’s prize money he wins during the season. If you join us then you are welcome to come and see him at LRS whenever you like and you are also be eligible for an owner’s badge when he runs!
